A Pole And A New Look That’s Here To Stay, Probably

I think I settled on a WordPress theme that might work. It’s called Scrollider, by Woo Themes. It’s kind of cool. You may have noticed the photo when you first got here, assuming you’re coming from a regular computer not a phone. And hopefully you scrolled down to get to the rest of the home page, it’s hidden down there and scrolls up, hence the name. Anyways, I’ve got a few things to work out with it but it shouldn’t be too long before I can just post awesome photos and not worry about getting themes set up.

Baby Photos Are Awesome!

Here are some baby photos I have taken of my lovely daughter. She is quite the model, if I do say so myself (and I do). Did you know that I take a photo of her every day and then at irregular intervals put them all together into a video? Then you get to see her grow up right before your very eyes. I think it’s pretty cool and you might too.

Portfolio Item 1?

I figured out how to add things to the portfolio. It was just a matter of setting a category for portfolio items. So I am going to create a category called “Portfolio” and use it for that. I will categorize this post that way and then go to the portfolio page I created and see what shows up.

Round Red Bricks

Here is another post. I am adding several posts just to see what happens. I have changed the theme again, this time I’m using the Pinboard theme. I dunno if I like it either, but I’m gonna try and make it work. I can’t figure out how to make a portfolio page. It seems like it should be pretty simple but I’m having a tiny bit of difficulty doing it. Ok, bye for now.

This is a post. I am posting it to see what happens in this theme, Bodega. I don’t know how much I like it. It doesn’t work very well “out of the box.” I am having to do all sorts of farting around with it to get it to do anything.

But that’s what you get when you don’t just pay money for one that works right. They’re really not that expensive. I have purchased 0ne for another site I have, but I just thought I’d try out one of the free themes. I might come to regret it once I spend so much time getting things set up right. Oh well, it’s good experience.
