This is a video I made 15 years ago, hard to believe they even had video back then but they did.

I made it in 2007 but you’ll notice it was posted in 2008 to YouTube. I had it on Revver before then I believe, but then they went away. Did you ever hear about them? It was a pretty cool concept that was ahead of its time I guess.

They had ads that would be attached to the video and a code that went along with it. The code stayed on the video no matter where it was posted so the original creator would get credit (ad revenue) for it. What a concept!

I really hate when I’m scrolling through FB reels or whatever and it’s clearly someone stealing someone else’s video and reposting it and getting the views and dollars just because they’re better at manipulating the algorithm than the OP.

But whatever man. Who can do anything about it? Well, someone can but it ain’t me so don’t ask. Just watch my little video I posted above and anxiously await the publication of my next blog post!
